DJ Waly Verdun
From Asunción (Paraguay) the heart of South America, to New York City - the capital of the world , Waly Verdún has been involved & in love with arts his whole life. After graduating from audiovisual & film school, he moved to New York where he redirected his career to something he has been flirting with since he was a kid: music. In the big city, he found himself attracted to the nightlife and inspired by the eclectic club scene of New York, where he experimented with different genres and sounds, searching for his own beat and rhythm.
Waly has worked developing sounds for documentaries, video soundtracks, and art installations, and, at the same time, has played at bars, warehouses, art galleries, corporative events and fashion weeks.
Johnny Gabriel is a New York-based writer and performer.
Most recently he contributed the lyrics to the album A Hopeful Place (Navona Records) and completed a solo cabaret piece, Johnny en Rose.
