"It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are." These words from the great poet, e. e. cummings, evoke a man of good will standing steadfast in the middle of an ever-changing world around him, daring to be different and determined in owning who he was.
So, too, are the men of ECMC - committed to steadfast love and growth as modern men living in a world constantly in uncertain flux. Through musical settings of cummings' unparalleled texts by incredible composers including Vincent Persichetti, Daniel Brewbaker, and David Dickau, as well as our own Artistic Director, Vince Peterson, ECMC presents a singing reminder that we carry each others' fragile hearts over and through whatever may fall before us in the path of life.
Topping off the program will be the world premiere of celebrated composer, Justin Dello Joio's first-ever choral work of the same name: "i carry your heart." Join us for this poignant and heart-lifting concert event!
