The love of David and Jonathan, a setting of biblical verses, by Stefan Weisman; the terror of the Holocaust as told in A Survivor from Warsaw by Arnold Schoenberg; the sorrow embodied in Lee Hoiby’s poignant setting of the Last Letter Home of a soldier killed in Iraq; and words of spiritual solace and brotherhood in Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody and Mozart’s Freimauerkantate. Also featured will be the World Premiere of Queer Hosannas by composer David Del Tredici.
